AMBA is dedicated to the delivery of robust and easy to use spectrometers for greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations, industrial gases and stable isotopes across many scientific applications and industrial markets.
Oil and Gas Exploration Solutions
The unique solution for CO2 and compound specific carbon isotope analysis enables scientists and petroleum companies to explore overpressure and permeability, identify high production zone. New innovative isotope analyzer couples with high speed GC could analyze isotope of methane, ethane and propane within two minutes.
Climate and Environment Solutions
The Earth's climate has changed throughout history. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives. Carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) are key GHGs to drive climate change, the concentrations/quantity of them absorb and emit radiation within the thermal infrared range, then change the climate. How to understand better on GHGs emission? How to evaluate the exchange of carbon between soil and atmosphere? How to protect changing environment? AMBA enable scientists and governments around the world to measure GHGs, trace gases and stable isotopes, which help them know better about climate change and environment protection.
Medical and Physiological Solutions
Variations in the isotopic signature of carbon in biological samples (e.g. breath, blood and tissues) can be used to monitor shifts in whole body metabolism. As a conservative recorder of our diet, changes in the isotopic signature of carbon in biological samples provide an objective means to distinguish dietary patterns and the relationship with diseases. In addition, metabolic discrimination of carbon within the body can be informative regarding changes in the body's metabolic fuel usage during situations where shifts in the macronutrient oxidation ratio are expected. Therefore, changes in the isotopic signature over time have proven to be a tremendously powerful and sensitive means of detecting and measuring changes in steady-state systems. As such, this review focuses on how a naturally occurring ratio of stable isotopes of carbon (13C/12C) can be used as a biomarker for nutritional and metabolic status, altered macronutrient metabolism, and health and disease. AMBA’s new generation high speed infrared spectrometry for trace gas and isotope ratio supplies unique solutions for both disease diagnosis and physiological research.
Industrial Solutions
ndustrial monitoring is a general term for on-going collection and use of measurement data or other information for assessing performance against a standard or status with respect to a specific requirement. With regards to air quality regulatory requirements, there are three basic types of monitoring, including Ambient Air Quality Monitoring, Stationary Source Emissions Monitoring, and emission Continuous Monitoring Systems. AMBA’s industrial solutions range from continuous emission monitoring (CEM) to trace gas analysis for ambient air and biogas.
