i3211w CO2 Isotope Analyzer

The new AMBA i3211w CO2 isotope analyzer is an exciting solution for continuous measurements of the isotope ratio and concentration of CO2 in air with published and guaranteed precision specifications. Combining mid-infrared Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL) with String Topology Waveguide (STW) technology has enabled a breakthrough cavity volume of less than 0.1ml. The resulting small volume sample path results in fast sample turnover rates with low sample volume requirements compared to previous technologies, thereby opening up the range of analytical possibilities.

The AMBA i3211w makes use of duplicated detection cavities to improve response time and flexibility. Dual cavity measurements enable optimization for different concentrations simultaneously. One Cavity is optimized for a measurement range of 0-10,000ppm CO2 whilst the other cavity is optimized for up to 50,000ppm CO2. This model is ideal when a wide measurement range is required, such as for underground soil flux, fermentation experiments, plastic degradation studies, landfill emission monitoring etc.

High sampling rate at low sample volumes means easy connection with small culture bottles and chambers for microbial/soil studies, leaf/community photosynthesis studies etc. Excellent compatibility and extensibility with other peripherals such as gas chromatographs, elemental analyzers, TOC/TIC analyzers and other CO2 generation devices.

All AMBA analyzers can be controlled remotely via the Internet enabling operators to obtain and share data from measurements in remote locations and allowing continuous monitoring of the instrument for optimum performance.

AMBA analyzer ownership includes instrument life-time access to our one-to-one customer service and technical support, right from product purchase, through to system integration and beyond.
